Logistical support (publishing licensing dpt.)

VME PLB SAS belongs to a Japanese Publishing group. We sell Japanese manga rights and their digital contents to several publishing houses in Europe and Latin America. We also accompany our Manga artists on their events and promotion in Europe and Latin America.

Due to manga’s growth in popularity, we are looking to hire 2 people to support our publishing licensing team this summer.

Location: Central Paris
Position: Logistical support for the publishing licensing department
Contract: ‘CDD’
Gross salary: 1541,46 €/ month
Start: ASAP – to the end of August or beginning of September
Visa: company will not sponsor Visa in France

1. Identify which country parcels come from.
2. Sort the parcels by countries and by destination publishers and store them separately at an appropriate space.
3. Open the parcels and prepare complete sets of sample books to be packed and to be checked by Licensing coordinator/ Approval coordinator. Store them separately at an appropriate space.
4. Complete the list of titles in the parcels.
5. Close the parcels containing complete sets of sample books which were validated by Licensing coordinator/Approval coordinator.
6. Weigh each parcel and keep notes.
7. Store the parcels ready to be shipped at an appropriate space
8. Update procedure guide when necessary
9. Communicate closely with Licensing coordinator and Approval coordinator to share work status and work progress

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the overall business objectives of the organization.
Minimum language skill: Business level English
Recruitment process: 1st call with HR (English or French), then video call or onsite interview with a Licensing Senior Coordinator (Japanese or English).
