Approval Assistant

Our company sells Japanese manga rights to several publishing houses in Europe, Middle East and Latin America. We also accompany our Manga artists on their events and promotion in Europe and Latin America.

We are looking for a new Approval Assistant.

<DUTIES>
• Work closely with Approval teams and Licensing teams to ensure that contents of licensed works is published in line with our company and rights holders’ guidelines, in both print and digital editions
• Proceeds of design approvals of cover files of local edition and marketing items
• Coordinates the approval process that the licensed works can be printed and published according to licensee’s plan
• Archive final approved design files of books and promotions in the right place
• Control quality of finished print books of local edition
• Ensure all required information are documented in various tracking lists
• Help in inventory control of Japanese sample books and magazines, including order placement for newly published Japanese books
• Support the Material & Reference team to ensure smooth shipping and delivery of data and working copies to licensees
• Help in preparation of regular shipping of print book samples furnished by local publishers to rights holders
• Controls quality of e-pub files submitted by local publishers before online-delivery
